Product Description
The samples included in Organic Compounds have been recorded through a combination of AKG C414 B-XLS II and Rode NT-55 microphones. The audio examples at the bottom of the page are a very good representation of the styles of sounds you can get with just the unaffected samples. We have not used any compression, limiting, equalizing or other external processing devices on the original recordings - just pure drum sounds that you can mix as you see fit. Most sound categories include “hard”, “medium” and “light” recordings to allow very flexible velocity layering and round-robin mappings.
Audio Demos
The demonstration sounds below will give you a good idea about the sound contained within Organic Compounds. All drum grooves in the below demos were composed strictly of Organic Compounds samples, arranged and exported from within Ableton Live.
The Drum Kit
The first kit we’ve sampled is a Tama Rockstar 4-Piece drumkit with star cast mounting system. Other individual kit pieces are listed below. Each update will include new kits, new recording techniques and playing styles and different striking types.
