Please note that the Sound Repository has not been updated recently as our lead sound designer and developer, Reason Lahalla, has passed away suddenly at the age of 33 after a period of illness. Please bear with us while we bring on new sound designers to fill the immense shoes that Reason once filled. The Sound Repository is a bundle of all our sample and loop based products rolled into one, continuously updated sample library. When we started creating sample libraries, we wanted to make affordable, unique and useful sounds and tools that could be accessed by anyone who needs them. Instead of offering single products, we have decided to offer up our entire library for one low price. No upgrade fees, no gimmicks, just a big sample repository that gets updated with new content every so often. Download what you need, when you need it.

We have one version of the library, but two licenses to choose from: producer or developer. The Producer license allows you to use the sounds in any personal or commercial music, but the sounds cannot be re-distributed in any way whatsoever. The Developer license allows for the remixing, redesign and re-distribution of commercial sound libraries without any further licensing or payments of sample usage. In other words: you can use them to make and release your own sound libraries!

The Sound Repository is now also available on a 2 DVD set for $19.00 (includes free shipping), shipped right to your door. This option is great for those who don’t want the subscription and/or having to downloading all the content from the user accounts. When purchasing, make sure that you INCLUDE YOUR COMPLETE SHIPPING ADDRESS. This is very important, as we won’t know where to send the DVDs otherwise. The DVD option will be shipped with absolutely everything currently included in the Sound Repository, and the shipping is FREE to domestic and international customers. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.



 
 

The newest addition to the repository is Synthetic Micro for Alchemy, which is a package of 60 unique Alchemy instruments, compatible with Alchemy v1.5 and thoroughly tagged with Alchemy’s new browser tagging system. More details and information can be found on our Synthetic Micro webpage.

We’ve Also added a new section to the repository called “Track Packs”, which are essentially long contruction kits of individual tracks. More information on the new Track Packs can be found HERE.

Below you will find a list of all new additions to the library, including audio demos and a brief summary of what is included. Currently there is nearly 11 gigabytes of content available, which is roughly 10,000 individual sound files, waveforms, synth patches and instrument mappings from our most popular products are included with this package. Many of the products also include SFZ, SF2 (soundfont), Poise, Alchemy and/or Kontakt versions. If you have a specific request, you can contact us anytime.

 

Ammunition v1.5
A package of 600 audio (.wav) samples, 10 SFZ drum kit maps, 9 Poise Kits, 10 Kontakt Instruments and 10 Kontakt Multis. The samples are generally more raw and grimy than most other sample libraries.		   High Voltage Kicks
Contains 201 kick drum audio (.wav) samples, organized into many genres for easy browsing. Additional maps and instrument formats are planned.		   Elektro Nation
A package consisting of 330 audio (.wav) loops, 225 audio (.wav) samples, 16 Soundfont (.SF2) templates and 16 SFZ drum kit maps which are useful in a wide array upbeat electronic styles.
 
 
Funky Grooves
Contents include 456 audio (.wav) loops, 300 audio (.wav) samples, 20 MIDI (.MIDI) templates, 15 SFZ drum kit maps and an Ableton Live (8.2+) package. The loops are very organic and have varying degrees of swing/groove manually applied to them.		   Organic Compounds
Contains 1,332 audio (.wav) samples, 25 SFZ format mappings, 25 SF2 format mappings, 25 Alchemy mapped kits, 25 Poise mapped kits and 100 individual Poise audio cells, and is suitable for any music requiring unique, acoustic drum sounds.		   Anatomy 01 Bundle
A package of 514 mapped single-cycle waveforms, 514 Alchemy Waveforms, 84 Kontakt 4+ instrument templates and 20 Kontakt 4+ multi templates. The bundle was conceived for people who want to use Kontakt as a sound design tool.
 
 
Old Skool Guitars
Contents include 206 audio (.wav) building blocks, 100 audio (.wav) samples, 93 audio (.wav) loops and 26 raw audio (.wav) recordings. The sounds are suitable for retro hip-hop, funk, fusion and just plain ol’ remixing.		   Metal and Motion
A unique library which includes 190 audio (.wav) samples, 13 SFZ maps and 13 SF2 maps. Content includes cymbals scrapes, metal guitar FX, metal textures and more. Great for cinematic purposes!		   Transitions
Includes 333 audio (.wav) samples split between “transitions”, “fades”, “impacts” and “blends” created specifically for creating stingers, movie style transitions and movements, etc.
 
 

 

The Producer and Developer licenses are available now for a limited time for $39.00 USD and $99.00 USD, respectively. Current DNR users who own one or more products can log into their account to access discounted upgrade versions of the library for $9.00 USD (producer license) and $29.00 USD (developer license). The discounted versions are no different than the full priced versions of the library.
