Below you will find information on each type of content that the Sound Repository contains, including samples and loop libraries, VSTi instrument patches, sampler mappings and formats and ‘Track Packs’, which is a new category I’ve just started adding to the repository. If more information is necessary, please feel free to contact me from our e-mail form and I’ll gladly include any clarifications.
All sample and loop libraries included in this package are created in one of two ways - in seamlessly looping portions (such as a complete drum loop) or in one-shot samples (such as a snare hit). The primary format of all sample and loop libraries included is 24 or 16-bit .WAV, in either 44.1khz or 48khz. These audio files should be playable in any device or software application that supports .WAV format samples.
Some of these libraries may also contain a variety of other formats and mappings, usable in specific applications. You may find one of the following mapping or audio formats included with these libraries:
I’ve started creating some patches and including them into the library lately. The patches may or may not have samples included in them, but each product page should tell you exactly what is included. The following is a list of the synthesizers that I’ll most likely be including in the library:
Track Packs are essentially just that - a construction kit created from a full track. These packages may have large parts in them, or just a few small parts, but it depends on how happy I am with the quality of the exported audio. I’ll also include the actual track itself as reference as well, and if someone hears a part of the track that they’ed like to get the original to, I’ll happily render it as a full length .WAV file and upload it to a temporary account for downloading.
